New Adventure Released

This is an edited for Heroes & Other Worlds edition of Chris Gonnerman's Morgansfort, The Western Lands Campaign. It contains 3 different dungeon based adventures and a small campaign setting. It also includes a detailed home base, Morgansfort, for your heroes to begin their adventures in!

This module includes new Heroes & Other Worlds rules for using holy symbols to repel...or unholy symbols to control the undead! This campaign module is suitable for a new or experienced Referee and Players.

It is available now at Lulu.com in print for $9.99 USD or as a PDF for $5.99 USD.

In addition, the Heroes & Other Worlds character record sheets are also now available! The sheets are double sided to contain all a heroes information! The coil bound booklet includes enough sheets to create 15 adventurers and 7 Wizards. This coil bound booklet makes it easy to tear out a new sheet to use but is handy to transport the unused sheets on the go! These are $7.99 USD.

Use promo code DISCOUNT10 to get 10% off your purchase! I apologize in advance if the code does not work in all countries or territories. Game on my friends!

    1. Thanks Geordie! I think this and chaotic caves show that a B/X style of game with a more fluid/sensible mechanic-is possible to play. Now whether anyone wants to play that type of games as a non-d20 experience? Well that's the real test isn't it. :)

Good to see you blogging again.

  3. Ordered both, naturally...although I had to wait until this morning, because Lulu was having issues yesterday night....

As for d20, we still play a bunch of games in that group, like 13th Age and of course D&D, but HOW has the distinct advantage of being well-suited for pick up and play games, and is elegant enough to work well with making things up mid-session as needed.

  4. Ordered the Physical Copies and PDF of Morgan's Fort & the Chaotic Caves, as well as the Character Sheet Booklet. the only thing I'm missing now is the Raedwall . :)

Actually Christopher a Spiral bound version of HOW and Magi Carta would be really nifty too, I'd love the lay flat format of something like that,

    1. Thanks so much Erik for your continued to generous support, I really appreciate it and hope you will continue to enjoy the game! I think these two adventure books harken back perfectly to the B/X adventure days and thus were a great fit as intro to HOW adventures to play!

When I revise the HOW rules (this will not happen until AFTER Blades & Black Magic supplement is published) I think that is the point where I will do a hardback version, a spiral bound version and the classic current size. Thanks again Erik!
