So close now!

Happy to say after a series of unfortunate events, the Tome of Terrors and Treasures is 99.99% done.  I plan on combing through it ONE MORE TIME tomorrow before finishing it up and letting it go live on Lulu. Thanks for your support and patience!

I also wanted to point you to a wicked cool little mapper!  This program and website from Amit Patel allows you to generate a random island and view it in multiple ways! In addition you can out put it as a PNG and then doctor it up as you like!

Below is a sample hex map it randomly generated for me. It's the right kind of canvas for creating a cool hexplore campaign.  Indeed I have a submitted map/ island hexplore from Narmer to use in the next Cauldron as well as including some naval rules for HOW. So much to do and once the weight of ToTaT is off my shoulders I really look forward to smaller projects.  Still I feel that getting ToTaT created and completed was a necessary and needed resource for HOW especially, but maybe as a resource for other similar games too.  Not long now...

  1. wow! that is the best island/continent geography generator i've seen! even though it is described as an 'island' generator, the only difference between 'island' and 'continent' is scale! thanks for this wonderful tip/link!

  3. Neato! I have CC3 and Fractal Terrains 3 from ProFantasy. The learning curve for each is steep but very much worth it. FT3 is actually easier to use than CC3 and you can easily export customized random continents and worlds in a variety of formats and layouts for printing.
