What is Heroes & Other Worlds?

Heroes & Other Worlds is a game of adventure inspired by Metagaming's classic Melee/Wizard/TFT system combined with inspiration from the Moldvay edited basic game. The rules are easy to learn and use standard six sided dice. The system is simple, sensible and flexible in the spirit of classic role playing games from the early 80's. New Review

Jeffro has just posted a very detailed review of Heroes & Other Worlds.  He does an excellent job of of highlighting differences of HOW and Legends of the Ancient World as well as other incarnations of this system. It is well written and a very thorough breakdown of the game.  Well done Jeffro!

    Now that is a really good review. Especially since there are notes on how the game worked in actual play.
