1) The rules are done including character creation, skills, combat, adventuring and equipment.
2) Need to add basic combat scenarios--or would an adventure be better to include?
3) Need to add common creature/ animal foe list.
4) Need to do art layout
Decision is made that setting specific, more detailed character creation (background, starting kit by homeland) will be reserved for the Zemya setting book.
After Blades comes out (End of January seems likely) then Cauldron 2 would be the next release followed by the Black Magic book and then the Zemya setting book. It is an ambitious plan to get all 4 out this year--but I have it on good authority a man's reach should exceed his grasp.
I was going to say that the art work looked like a more realistic Red Sonja. Then I looked at the title of the piece.
ReplyDeleteMt Dunbar's Red Sonja is awesome--I like a chain mail bikini as much as the next guy, but this is a far better concept and a more deadly Red Sonja IMHO
ReplyDeleteCreate an adventure instead of simple combat scratches. Immersion into the world you present it's a important thing.
ReplyDeleteI think there will be an adventure to give a flavor of the game type. The setting of Zemya will be its own gazetteer.
DeleteRe: Red Sonja, my thoughts are exactly the same. Chain mail bikinis are a delight but this is the person I would much rather have beside me in a fight. As you said, a much better concept and more deadly.
